How Do You Ship Infinite Strings Violins?

Purchasing a violin online is a new experience for many musicians. One of the questions we hear most often is whether a violin can be shipped safely over long distances or even across continents.

The short answer is yes. Approximately half of our violins are shipped from the United States to customers around the world, and international shipping has been a regular part of our business for many years. We routinely deliver instruments to musicians across Europe, Canada, Australia, Asia, and many other countries.

Before Shipment

Before shipment, every instrument receives a final inspection and setup to ensure it leaves our workbench in proper playing condition. The violin is then carefully packed inside its case with additional protection to minimize movement during transportation. The case itself is securely boxed with protective cushioning designed to absorb shocks during transit.

Shipping Methods

For customers within the continental United States, we typically ship via UPS 2nd Day Air. Most international orders are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited, with delivery typically taking about five business days, depending on the destination. Because every destination is different, we simply select the shipping method that best suits each instrument and its destination.

International Shipping

For customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, we also offer an All-In Shipping option on many instruments.

Our Goal

We strive to deliver every violin in the same condition in which it left our workbench. In many cases, customers receive their violins still in tune and ready to play.
