Introducing the Private Stock Individual collection. Each instrument is individually made by our senior luthier Allen Wong under supervision of award-winning luthier Wayne Zhou, following the same wood selection, graduation, varnish, and acoustical tuning process used in our award-winning violins.
Made after the celebrated 1716 “Messiah” Stradivari, one of the most admired and best-preserved violins in existence. Clear, sweet, and rich tone with excellent projection and quick response. Focused and brilliant in the upper register, yet deep and resonant in the lower register. The violin responds directly to bow pressure, capable of explosive tone when pushed, yet still able to sing and whisper at softer volumes. Traditional Stradivari graduation methods combined with our acoustical plate tuning process help maximize the instrument’s response across all four strings.
The 356 mm body length provides comfortable playability while maintaining the tonal depth and projection expected from a professional-level instrument. Finished in a pristine amber-reddish oil varnish over carefully selected Italian spruce and Bosnian maple, this instrument combines classic Stradivari aesthetics with modern acoustical tuning and setup.
